Niekalbert trained as a sociologist and has over 35 years of experience in the field of people and organizations. Starting as a content advisor and later transitioning into roles as a consultant, manager, and director, he has overseen HR departments and processes. He looks at people with a loving sharpness. His distinctive ability is to intervene in people and organizations with care and precision. He believes in connection, reliability, authenticity, growth, and tolerance, and he combines this with a business-like and pragmatic approach.

Niekalbert has encountered situations where people can no longer understand each other and are stuck. He has seen that mediation is a powerful tool that enables people to reconnect and take responsibility for sustainable solutions. Contributing to that process is a key motivator for him to work as a mediator.

In 2021, Niekalbert joined the MfN-register. Since then, he has quickly completed a large number of mediations across various sectors and organizations. In addition, he serves as a community mediator in his local area.
