About Marije

With years of experience at a family office and a notarial legal background, Marije works solution-oriented in complex family dynamics.

Marije is an inheritance mediator and mediator for matters in family businesses. She has a unique background: after starting in notarial law, she worked for many years at the largest family office in the Netherlands. This has given her broad experience in dealing with family dynamics at the intersection of wealth and/or family business.

As a mediator, she focuses not only on resolving conflicts related to inheritances and family businesses but also on facilitating conversations between family members who want to prevent conflicts in light of upcoming legal or business matters. For example, when parents are aging, a business transfer is imminent or has taken place, there are complex assets, or there is a special family relationship.

In addition to being a mediator, Marije is also an advisor for families in areas where family, wealth, and/or business overlap. In both roles, she combines her experience with legal, tax, financial, and wealth matters and family dynamics with her mediation skills. Where necessary, she gladly collaborates with various specialists, such as tax advisors, notaries, estate planners, and lawyers.
